Greetings, Salutations and Some News

Just when you all thought that the Speakeasy had entered prohibition, up we pop with a seasonal message. 
We hope everyone had a lovely Christmas holiday, we hope you all have a very prosperous New Year and we would like to point out that we have officially finished the 'News Bag Daily'.
What?! You've never heard of it?! 
Well take a meander over here and you will see a collection of daily news cuttings, highlighting the glorious happenings of 2012 -from the 1 January to the last day of December- all 365 of them. (Yes, that threw us for a moment too; No newspaper on Christmas Day - that must mean only 364. . . But we forgot that it was a Leap Year, such fun).
All we have to do now is to make them into bags. . . a bit like this. (Apologies for poor photo quality).

Bestival 2012

Hooray for sunshine at this year's Bestival! What a lovely weekend everyone had. We even managed to sell coffee to a gang of visiting squirrels... they were red squirrels though, so that was ok.

Look! Our newspaper project has completed it's 5th month. Woohoo! 152 days of news, so far. Just another 7 months to go. . .

Crafts at Bovey 2012

Dr Bean's Bags would like to say that we will be attending the Contemporary Craft Fair at Bovey Tracey this year.

A group of smart London Bags. . . or should that be A smart group of London Bags. 
Or. . A group of Bags, which we think look quite smart, and have words about the fine city of London carefully sewn onto them, indicating that the general synopsis for the near future will be one of happiness.

So, what do you do when the daytime temperature is below freezing? Well, go to the beach, obviously, to do a photo shoot. It was a beautiful sunny day though, just right for taking pictures.
